OnePlus Price Leaks 15: Flagship Is Cheaper Than OnePlus 13, But Still Fierce

JAKARTA - The latest generation of flagship OnePlus seems to be shaking the market again. The latest leak indicates that OnePlus 15 will come with top specifications and the latest OxygenOS 16 operating system, but at a more affordable price than its predecessor, OnePlus 13.

Over the past few weeks, reports have claimed that OnePlus 15 will be priced slightly cheaper. Now, well-known tips Arsène Lupine has revealed the details of the price for the British market that strengthens the news.

In China, OnePlus 15 is estimated to sell for around 3,999 yuan or the equivalent of Rp9.3 million (around 500 yuan (Rp1.11 million) cheaper than OnePlus 13. According to Lupine, a similar trend will also occur in the global market.

For the UK market, the 16GB RAM variant and 512GB OnePlus 15 storage will reportedly sell for 949 pounds sterling, while the model with the same specifications on OnePlus 13 is sold for 999 pounds sterling. This means that there is a price difference of around 50 pounds or 67 US dollars. Although the price for the basic 256GB model has not been disclosed, this price drop is believed to increase the attractiveness of OnePlus outside China's domestic market.

OnePlus' move to suppress its flagship price is said to be inspired by the success of iQOO 13 in the Chinese market, which has succeeded in attracting gamer attention. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, OnePlus 15 promised to become an extreme performance machine for both daily and heavy gaming use.

To reduce production costs, OnePlus is said to lower the screen resolution from 2K to 1.5K, but still maintains premium panels. The camera system also experienced a refresh: Hasselblad tuning was officially replaced by a new internal technology called DetailMax Engine, which is claimed to be able to increase the sharpness of the photo without compromise.

With a combination of high performance, more friendly prices, and a new design approach, OnePlus 15 has the potential to be the flagship of the most worth it by 2025 and at the same time assert that not all high-end phones must come at exorbitant prices.
