JAKARTA - Kaspersky has established a strategic collaboration with PeaceGeneration Indonesia (PeaceGen) to organize a cyber security program targeting teachers, school administrators, and high school students in West Java.

Supported by the West Java Provincial Education Office and the Bandung City Education Office, the program, which took place from July to October 2025, involved more than 300 education participants from more than 50 high schools in West Java.

Training materials include topics such as cyber bullying, online predation, data security, harmful content, digital welfare, and practical devices to build cyber security.

"We believe that cyber resilience starts from education. By working with PeaceGeneration, we want to ensure that teachers and students understand cyber risks as well as have the ability to protect themselves and the community," said Defi Nofitra, Country Manager of Kaspersky for Indonesia.

The strategic partnership with PeaceGen allows Kaspersky to expand efforts to reach more people and help strengthen the digital resilience of various groups.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of PeaceGeneration Indonesia, Irfan Amali, hopes that this collaboration can strengthen the practical skills of students and teachers in terms of resilience and the digital community.

This program is very timely and relevant to current needs, because digital challenges for students are increasingly real. For us, this initiative serves as a pilot, and we hope to mainstream the curriculum in more schools in the future," said Irfan.

The collaboration of the cyber resilience program with Kaspersky will not only equip participants with technical skills, but also foster a positive, courageous, and peaceful attitude in the digital space.

The results of this activity are expected to be a model for cyber literacy training that can be replicated in other cities and provinces in Indonesia.
