Nothing has started rolling out the call record feature for the Nothing Phone device, but unfortunately it is only available for certain models in certain countries.

In a short upload on Twitter/X, Nothing confirms that the call record feature is currently rolling out to Nothing Phone via the Essential Space app. Users will be able to start recording calls using the physical Essential Key "tombol next to the device" while calling, or by tapping the record button that appears on the notification route.

Because this feature is tied to Essential Space, this feature is only exclusive to the latest Nothing Phone release, namely Nothing Phone (3), Phone (3a), and Phone (3a) Pro.

Nothing also mentions that this feature is only available in selected countries, as is often the case in the call record feature. Areas supported for this feature on the Nothing Phone include:

UK (UK)

India

Japan

South Korea

Philippines

Thailand

Malaysia

Indonesia

Nothing also clarifies that this is not a manual update, with the "automatic launch" starting today. This most likely means this is a server-side update for the Essential Space app.
