Basically, this feature comes for security purposes. Users can increase their awareness of accounts that may be fake by looking at the details of the username changes.

After that, tap the three-dot menu located in the upper right corner of the screen. From the menu that appears, select the option About This Account. This option will display a page containing some important information regarding the account.

Once on the page, search for and tap the User Name menu Previously. In this menu, Instagram will display a list of username historys that have been used by the account.

However, it should be noted that this feature has some limitations. The Option About This Account is not always available to all accounts, especially if the account does not have additional information that can be displayed.
