JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kemkomdigi) is running the AI Talent Factory Program to produce reliable digital talents who are able to develop artificial intelligence technology (AI) to provide solutions to the nation's problems.
Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Communication and Trade, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, said that this program is expected to produce digital talents who master AI technology and use it to innovate.
"AI Talent Factory is here not only to print a startinner or intermediate talent, but an advanced talent who is ready to face the problems facing the nation," Bonifasius said in a confirmed ministry press statement on Saturday.

He encouraged AI developers in Indonesia to create artificial intelligence applications using local resources and wisdom.
"It would be very good if we, for example, for genrative AI LLM or Large Language Model, we can make our own use of our own language," he said.
"Our regional languages are quite rich, our ethnicities are quite a lot, our cultural diversity is also extraordinary," he added.
Nezar also stated the importance of increasing the capacity of digital talent so that they can not only use technology, but also be able to provide technology-based solutions that are beneficial for many people.
"We need about nine million more talents, and we also have to think about not talent that is just a user, but talent that can enter as a developer as well as a developer," he said.
