JAKARTA - At the launch of the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi Indonesia stated at the time that it would only launch two variants of this model. Xiaomi Indonesia Country Director Alvin Tse stated that the decision was made so that consumers do not get confused due to the large number of models marketed.

But it didn't take long for the company to revise its statement. It has not been two months since the launch of the two variants of the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi Indonesia shared an announcement regarding its intention to bring a new variant.

Citing an upload on Xiaomi Indonesia's official Instagram account, the company announced the presence of a new variant that will fill the Redmi Note 10 series family in Indonesia. Named Redmi Note 10S, the phone is planned to be launched on May 18 next week.

"To fulfill your desire to want more variants of Redmi Note 10 Series, not only bring a new version of RAM, #XiaomiIndonesia bring a new product that is Redmi Note 10S," xiaomi Indonesia wrote.

Redmi Note 10S Specifications

Indeed, until now Xiaomi Indonesia has not shared detailed information regarding the specifications and prices of Redmi Note 10s. However, if we refer to the official website of Xiaomi Global, it can be concluded that the Redmi Note 10S has specifications similar to the Note 10.

Starting from a 6.43-inch wide AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass protection, a configuration of four rear cameras, as well as a punch-hole-wrapped front camera located in the center.

It's just that, the difference can be found in the chipset components as well as the choice of RAM. Based on the information on the official website, the Redmi Note 10S is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with a choice of 6GB and 8GB OF RAM.

As for internal storage, there are two options offered by the company. That is the capacity of 64GB and 128GB. Noteworthy, this is a global version specification. It is still unknown what kind of configuration will be brought to the country.
