JAKARTA The status feature on WhatsApp will be more similar to Instagram Stories. The reason is, in the near future, the messaging platform will launch a new feature similar to Friends Close to Instagram.
Close Friends, or Close Friends, are a feature that allows users to share Status with those closest to them. Users must select which accounts are included in the Close Friend category.
So far, this feature only exists on Instagram. Overall, the Status feature on WhatsApp is almost similar to Instagram Stories because users can upload photos or videos with songs. The upload system is also the same, which is only 24 hours.
For now, WhatsApp Status only offers three privacy options, including My Contact, My Contact Except..., and Just Share With .... Apparently, this option will change after WhatsApp releases the Near Friend feature.
