SpaceX Successfully Launches Starship In 10th Flying Test

JAKARTA SpaceX, a company owned by Elon Musk, successfully re-launched Starship into space. The giant rocket completed its tenth flight test on Wednesday, August 27.

Starship took off from the Starbase facility in Texas at 06.30 WIB. Unlike previous flights, at the launch this time 33 rapper machines on the rocket managed to turn on. That way, Starship can fly into space.

In addition to the rapper's successfully working engine, the Super Heavy booster also managed to perform a new maneuver when it returned to Earth. This booster tests the landing by switching to a spare engine, an important feature that is presented to maintain security.

Overall, the test flight this time went according to plan. Super Heavy boosters managed to land in the Gulf of Mexico. This success provides valuable data for engineers to understand the performance of these boosters.

Meanwhile, the upper stage of Starship reaches space for the first time. SpaceX successfully opened the cargo doors and released eight Starlink satellites. The top stage also managed to restart one of the Raptor engines before the de-orbit.

During the process, Starship experienced extreme heat when re-entering the atmosphere. This trial stage is important to understand the thermal protection system as well as conduct new experiments on ride skin.

The most important thing is that the top stage manages to complete all trials without losing communication. This overcomes the main problem of previous flights, where ride control disappeared while in space.
