YouTube Music Develops Comment Feature For Playlist

JAKARTA YouTube Music, a music streaming platform that is still under Google, is developing an interesting feature. Later, users can leave comments on the playlist.

This is a feature that users may not expect, but may be needed. Users can share their thoughts about the playlist of the songs they like and read comments from other users.

This feature was first discovered by the Android Authority team. For now, the comments feature in the playlist is still in the form of a code line in the YouTube Music application. Most likely, this feature will work for a public playlist.

playlistrs can choose to enable or disable the comment field. This option will be available when the user creates a new playlist or when editing an existing playlist.

Users can also pause comments without deleting them. This means existing comments will remain visible, but no new comments can be added. This implementation is similar to the comments system on regular YouTube videos.

If this feature is launched, the comment icon will likely appear in the middle bar on the playlist page. This icon will be next to the button to save playlists, share, and other menus. The goal is for users to find and use the feature easily.

Although this feature is being developed, there is no definite information regarding the launch time. In addition, it is not yet known whether this feature will be of great interest to users. However, this feature has the potential to increase social interaction on the platform.
