Woochi The Wayfarer: Match Set In The Joseon Era Korea Will Be Present On Consoles And PCs

JAKARTA - The publisher of the Nexon Games and developer LoreVault announced that its newest fantasy action adventure game titled Woochi the Wayfarer, will be coming to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

There is no exact date for the launch yet, but this game is the first individual single player to set in the Joseon Korea era, so it is hoped that it will provide a unique and refreshing playing experience.

Woochi the Wayfarer will provide a fresh and unique playing experience, inspired by Korean traditional material, as well as having emotional resonances that anyone around the world can feel," said Nexon Games CEO Park Yong-hyun, in a press release, citing Wccftech.

He also mentioned that Woochi the Wayfarer is inspired by the famous Korean story, where this game is a depiction of 'The Tale of Jeon Woochi', a well-known Korean novel.

"We plan to present a game that will appeal to gamers from all cultures, telling an extraordinary story that fully demonstrates the development capabilities and experience of the Nexon Games," he added.

The soundtrack of this game is also inspired by traditional Korean music created by Korean composer Jung Jae-il, whose work is also worldwide in the film Parasite or the Netflix series, Squid Game.

There is no further information about this game. However, this game was developed using the advanced Unreal Engine 5 technology, so it has extraordinary visuals.
