OpenAI Officially Launches GPT-5, Strongest AI Model In Code

JAKARTA OpenAI has finally officially launched the GPT-5 after leaks about this Artificial Intelligence (AI) model continue to emerge. According to OpenAI, the GPT-5 is a big leap in the AI industry.

This AI model is promised to have better performance, starting from overcoming coding tasks, doing math, improving writing, to supporting health needs. All of these things can be handled quickly and accurately.

"This integrated system (GPT-5) knows when to respond quickly and when to think longer to provide an expert level response," OpenAI said in its latest report on Friday, August 8.

GPT-5 is referred to as an integrated system because it consists of several models. This system brings together a smart model to answer general questions and reasoning models to respond to more complex problems with deeper answers.

Compared to the previous generation, OpenAI said that GPT-5 had minimal hallucinations. In addition, the GPT-4 response, which had problems for some time because it looked like it had been minimized in this latest generation.

"We have made significant progress in reducing hallucinations, increasing compliance with instructions, and minimizing markdown behavior, while improving GPT performance.

Of the many GPT-5 capabilities, OpenAI stated that this integrated system is OpenAI's strongest coding model for now. This model can create a more complex user interface (UI) and a larger repository of dusting.

In terms of writing, GPT-5 can also be a reliable collaborator. This model can help translate raw ideas into interesting and resonant writing. This ability makes ChatGPT better in everyday tasks such as compiling reports, emails, and memos.

For health-related questions, GPT-5 is claimed to be the best model. The model got a much higher score in HealthBench, an evaluation made by the doctor. ChatGPT is expected to be a medical partner to help users understand information.

OpenAI also introduced the GPT-5 Pro for more challenging tasks. This variant is able to think longer to provide a better answer. During the evaluation, experts prefer the GPT-5 Pro over the standard version on some difficult intelligence tests.

GPT Tempting5 is available to all users. Plus subscribers will get more access to usage, while Pro subscribers will get access to the GPT Cup5 Pro, the version with the strongest reasoning.
