Meta Appoints Hayes As Threads Leader To Replace Adam Mosseri

JAKARTA - Meta Platform Inc. officially appointed WALL Hayes as the new head of social media services and microblogging Threads.

According to a report reported by Axios, with this appointment, Hayes will officially replace the position originally occupied by the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri.

Based on information from his LinkedIn account, Hayes is a graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas who holds a Bachelor of Art in the field of Philosophy.

Previously, Hayes served as vice president of products for generative AI on Meta for more than two years. In fact, he has held important roles on Meta and Instagram for more than 14 years.

Previously, Hayes had also served for 10 months as Vice President of Product Management on Instagram, as Director of Product Management on Meta, led the Remote Presence product team for 2 years, and served as Head of Product at Canvas for 9 months.
