Donald Trump's Spicy Uploads After Long Not Playing Social Media

JAKARTA - Former President of the United States (US) Donald Trump has proven inseparable from the world of social media (medsos). Even though Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube are compact, they prohibit Trump from chatting there.

As if he doesn't want to rely on major social media services, the 45th President has launched his own personal platform. The site, which is named "From Desk of Donald J. Trump", is now accessible to the public.

"What Facebook, Twitter and Google have done is a total disgrace and shame for our country. Free Speech has been removed from the President of the United States because Radical Left Lunatics feared the truth, but the truth will be revealed, bigger and stronger than ever," Trump's post on his personal social media.

"The people in our country will not support it! This corrupt social media company must pay a political price, and must no longer be allowed to destroy and destroy our Election Process," he concluded.

In fact, Trump's social media platform has an interface that resembles a personal blog that is similar to Tumblr, but with a simpler and more minimalist layout. Like social media, Trump supporters can like (like) every post, share it on Twitter or Facebook, or make a donation.

People can sign up for notifications of Trump posts on the platform via their email and phone number. Users are also allowed to share Trump's posts on Facebook and Twitter. Twitter's sharing options are currently not working, but Facebook does allow people to share Trump's posts.

"A place to talk freely and safely, straight from Donald J. Trump's desk," Trump wrote on his website.

The website's activation coincides with the announcement of the Facebook Supervisory Board which will decide whether Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts can be used again or will remain permanently blocked. On the other hand, Twitter has decided to block Donald Trump's account for good.

Launching the BBC, Donald Trump's personal website was created by Campaign Nucleus, a company that provides digital services. It is known that this company was also founded by former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.

The Trump campaign team also had another social media platform called Parler. However, the app, widely used by conservatives and right-wing Trump supporters, was removed by Google and Apple from app stores.

Parler is considered to have published a lot of posts that encourage violence and criminal acts. Apart from Google and Apple, Amazon also removed Parler from its cloud services for the same reason, which was considered to incite riots and violence.
