JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia has terminated access to three Private Electronic System Providers (PSE) that have not fulfilled their registration obligations.
In accordance with Article 7 of the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics Number 5 of 2020 concerning Private Electronic System Providers, this termination of access was carried out on PT. Dunia Luxindo (bathhandbodyworks), eBay Inc. (eBay) and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM).
The Director General of Digital Space Supervision, Alexander Sabar, emphasized that previously, Komdigi had provided notification letters, warning letters, and press releases regarding registration obligations.
But unfortunately, until the deadline that had been determined after the sending of the warning letter, the three PSEs still showed no effort to fulfill their registration obligations.
He stated that this termination of access was a form of commitment to law enforcement so that the national digital space would be more orderly and responsible, especially for PSEs operating in the country.

"This is also an effort to protect the public as users of digital services from potential risks due to services that are not officially registered," said Alex in his official broadcast quoted on Tuesday, July 1. In addition, the Ministry of Komdigi also encourages all PSEs to register electronic systems through the OSS system before being used in Indonesia. "And actively update registration information if there are changes," he said.
