JAKARTA Google launched Gemini CLI, an open-source Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent that offers langsug capabilities to the developer terminal. This tool is designed to facilitate development.

Gemini CLI launched to meet the needs of developers who are increasingly dependent on terminals. This agent provides a direct path from user orders to Gemini models. This tool is reliable for mode purposes.

In addition, Gemini CLI also offers versatile utilities. Developers can use the various features in it to perform various tasks, ranging from content creation, problem solving, to research and task management.

To access Gemini CLI for free, developers can log in with personal Google accounts. After that, they will get a free Gemini Code Assist license. This license offers access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro with a context window of 1 million tokens.
