Just Released, Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Immediately Breaks Record In Folding Phone World!

JAKARTA - Xiaomi officially introduced its newest foldable phone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, which is a serious competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. This device not only appears with a sleek and elegant design, but also carries superior specifications, including 5,165mAh batteries which are even bigger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as 50W wireless charging support.

Xiaomi shared the premiere of Mix Flip 2 through its official Weibo account, showing a slim design with a checkerboard pattern on the gold color variant. This phone has two rear cameras with Leica branding, as well as a 4.01-inch cover screen with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits.

When opened, the main screen measures 6.86 inches with 50 micron thick ultra-thin glass (UTG) technology, and is claimed to have very shallow folds even after 200,000 folds, the folding depth is only about 50 microns, or half of the thickness of an ordinary piece of paper.

Mix Flip 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm's newest high-end chipset, which promises high performance for multitasking and gaming. The main highlights are the battery capacity of 5,165mAh, larger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the majority of other foldable phones.

The charging is impressive, with 50W wireless charging support, making it one of the fastest foldable phones in terms of today's wireless charging.

This phone has a thickness of 7.57mm and weighs only 199 grams, making it one of the light and thin foldable phones in its class.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will officially launch on Thursday 26 June in China, but until now there has been no information about the global launch. Even so, this launch marks Xiaomi's first step in presenting new innovations in the folding phone segment.

With impressive specifications and features, Mix Flip 2 is predicted to pose a serious threat to Samsung's dominance in the folding phone market. We'll just have to wait and see if Xiaomi will bring it to the international market, including Indonesia.
