JAKARTA LinkedIn strives to help job seekers by launching many Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. Unfortunately, not all AI features on its platform can be accepted by users.

LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky revealed that there is one AI feature that is less in demand on its platform, namely AI-generated Suggestions. This feature is designed to strengthen the posts posted by users on its profile.

The popularity of this feature had confused the LindkedIn team, including Roslansky. According to him, this feature will be very useful so that applicants will often use it. However, the opposite happened.

"To be honest, this (feature) is not as popular as I thought," Roslansky said, quoted via Bloomberg on Monday, June 23. It is not known for sure why this feature is less popular. Rolansky argues that not everyone is interested in making posts.

LinkedIn is a platform for compiling and distributing user resumes online. Although some people use this platform as professional social media, not many want to make posts on the application.

In addition, Roslansky argues that AI usage is still a bad thing in the eyes of most users. If users are known to create AI-generated posts, they can receive harsh criticism from other users.

"If you are reprimanded on X or TikTok, that's one thing (of the usual)," explains Roslansky. "However, if you are reprimanded on LinkedIn, it really affects your ability to create economic opportunities for yourself."
