JAKARTA - Meta has just launched an AI-powered video editing tool with 50 creative presets for 10-second video clips. Users can now change clothes, change lighting, or apply the vintage comic style easily. This tool is already available on the Meta AI application, Meta.ai website, and Edits app, with new features coming soon.
In the latest update, Meta presents a very interesting video editing capability using an AI command that was prepared previously. With this AI video editing tool, users can change the costume, location, and style of the video instantly.
This new video editing tool is already available on the Meta AI application, Meta.ai website, and the Edits app in the United States. Meta mentions that this tool is inspired by its Movie Gen model, although it is not yet clear whether the same model is being used.
There are 50 preset options that can be selected to edit 10-second short videos. Meta admits to developing this preset based on input from creators, so that this feature can easily be integrated into the Edits application.
Some examples of interesting presets available include changing videos with a 'comic vintage' style, turning video lighting into a rainy atmosphere, even changing the video subject's clothes into space cadet costumes. This is only a small part of the features that can be tried.

Meta also makes it easier for users to share AI edited videos directly to Facebook and Instagram through the Edits and Meta AI applications. The company also confirmed that it will bring more customization options this year. Previously, Meta AI had offered image generation features on various platforms, and is now focusing on developing the AI video editing section to keep creators at home using its platform.
On the other hand, Meta is also forming a new AI superinteligence team, following a less positive response to their Llama 4 model.
