JAKARTA Apple will improve the functionality of Vision Pro, spatial computer technology for motors, on the next operating system (OS) update. This update includes gaming support.
Reporting from 9to5mac, Apple will add controller support to the nextvisionOS. That way, this expensive device not only supports the use of PlayStation and Xboc gamepads, but also spatial controllers.
SincevisionOS 1, this spatial computer has supported Bluetooth controllers, but this capability has not been widely adopted by developers. Therefore, Apple wants to expand the support of this controller invisionOS 26.
Reportedly, Apple is collaborating with Sony in launching this support. The company contacted Sony earlier this year to offer PlayStation VR2's handheld controller integration on Vision Pro.

Sony also agreed to work together so that the two have been working on the integration over the past few months. In relation to this support, Apple has also offered controller integration to third-party developers.
That way, users can access more games using Apple-backed console controllers. According to internal Apple sources, Vision Pro will also offer game titles that require PlayStation, Xbox, and MFI controllers.
It is not yet certain whether this more game control support will be announced at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025 event. If not announced in WWDC, this controller support may be revealed by the end of the year.
