OPPO Find N5 Confirmed Release In Indonesia On April 30

JAKARTA OPPO Find N5, the world's thinest foldable phone, will be present at the Indonesian market in the near future. This device will adopt Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the most advanced chipset today.

Usually, foldable phones have a fairly thick diameter, but not with Find N5. Head of PR OPPO Indonesia Arga Simanjuntak, in a hands-on session, explains that this phone has a thickness of 8.93mm when folded and 4.21mm when both screens are opened.

Thanks to its very thin thickness, this phone is also very light. Find N5 weighs only 229g, equivalent to one large apple. In addition to focusing on the weight and thickness, OPPO also pays attention to the delay in the folding phone.

OPPO Find N5 is the first foldable phone to pocket IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 certification so that it is resistant to rainwater splashes or high pressure water bursts. This device is also resistant to being soaked in ordinary water or high temperature.

"(This phone) has tested 100 thousand screen open-closes and submerged in extreme temperatures ranging from minus 20 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius. These are some of the durability that we provide to foldable users in Indonesia," said Arga on Thursday, April 17.

The Find N5 screen is also claimed to be very tough because it uses Dual Shielded Flexible Screen with three layers of stainless steel plate protection. Meanwhile, the outer screen uses ultra-thin nanocrystal glass with advanced ceramic glass technology.

Another innovation that Arga revealed was the 56100mAh silicon carbon battery which was able to last 25 hours for non-stop streaming. This battery is so thin with a thickness of 2.1mm that the N5 Find will not be heavy when held.

"Find N5 uses 10 percent silicon and increases its capacity, so it is large. With a battery capacity of 56,000 mAh, you can stream non-stop for 25 hours, non-stop Zoom for 8.6 hours, and non-stop gaming for 7 hours," explained Arga.

Find N5 is also the first foldable phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Thanks to this chipset, CPUs and GPUs can be faster and more efficient. Artificial Intelligence (AI) performances in them also increase by 45 percent.

This foldable phone is confirmed to be released on April 30. The price of this device has not been revealed, but Find N5 is sold for S$2.499 or around Rp. 30 million with 16GB+512GB storage.
