Komdigi Departs 29 Frequency Monitoring Cars To Monitor Eid 2025

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital together with cellular operators, including Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, XL Axiata, and Smartfren dispatched a team of telecommunication service quality standby posts in 2025.

In this effort, Komdigi and South opel dispatched around 1,500 personnel, supported by 29 operational vehicles, including frequency monitoring vehicles and complaint service vehicles.

The 29 fleets consisted of 7 monitoring cars from Komdigi, then 18 cellular operator cars, 4 quality service (QOS) motorbikes, and communication monitoring devices.

"Thus, we have held a joint meeting with cellular and also a team from the Director General of Digital Infrastructure. God willing, for Eid homecoming and this year, God willing, it will be smooth," said Minister of Trade Meutya Hafid at the Post for Quality Alert Post for Optimal Telecommunications Services in 2025 on Tuesday, March 25 in Jakarta.

Director General (Dirjen) of Digital Infrastructure, Wayan Toni Supriyanto, explained that the posts will operate for a full 24 hours starting from March 26 to April 8, 2025.

There are also five joint posts that will be established at Soekarno-Harta Airport, Merak Port, Km57 Rest Area and km62, Gambir station, Jakarta and Tawang station, Semarang.

"Then also the control post is at the Head Office of Monitoring Communications or PMT Komdigi will be the controlling center on the 8th floor of the behind the Komdigi building," said Wayan.

Komdigi is also working with BMKG, to activate the early warning system, in order to spread disaster information or extreme weather to the public via free SMS and also directly through digital TV media.

Not to forget, Komdigi has also prepared a 112 call center service for free, if there are people who are in an emergency.

"So if during homecoming there are obstacles, there are emergency needs, police calls, fire, ambulances, please call 112, that's a free service without being collected credit," he said.
