Chrome Racing, Microsoft Edge Launches Extensions For Android Users

JAKARTA After testing the extension on Edge for Android in January, Microsoft finally officially launched the support. Users can already see Edge's extension through the last update.

Currently, there are several Android browsers that support extension users, one of which is Firefox from Mozilla. However, Google Chrome has not launched extension support to date so Edge has stepped forward from Google.

Although the extension to Edge has reached a stable version in v134.0.3124.57, users will still see the Beta label in the Extension Store. It's not clear how long the label will be in Microsoft.

For now, Microsoft Edge for Android only supports 22 types of extensions. All of these extensions are offered officially by Microsoft so that security is guaranteed. That way, the extension experience will be different from other platforms.

To install one of the above extensions, make sure that you have updated the Edge version used. After that, open the app and tap the menu button in the lower right corner to search for the Extension button. You can directly add the desired extension.
