The concert titled "Metallica" will be released on Friday, March 14, 2025, and features exclusive footage of the M72 World Tour tour in Mexico City.

In this concert, Apple Vision Pro users will be able to enjoy the full performance of Metallica's three iconic songs: "Whiplash," "One," and "Enter Sandman." To record this concert, Apple built a special stage system equipped with 14 Apple Immersive Video cameras. These cameras include a stable camera system, a cable hanging camera, and a remotely controlled foldy camera to capture moments from various perspectives.

"Apple Immersive Video is changing the way people feel about the story, and we are excited to work with Metallica to present an unprecedented concert," said Tor Myhren, Vice President of Apple Marketing Communications. With Metallica on Apple Vision Pro, you will feel like you're really there: at the front row, backstage, even on stage with one of the biggest bands of all time.

The "Metallica" concert will be available for free for Apple Vision Pro users via the TV app on March 14. In addition to this concert, Apple also announced other Immersive Video content that will be coming soon, including new episodes of the series "Adventure" and "Boundless," as well as exclusive tours "VIP: Total Stadium" and "Bono: Stories of Subscription."

With this move, Apple is increasingly expanding its immersive entertainment experience through Vision Pro technology, offering new ways for music fans to enjoy their favorite concerts as if they were present at the venue.
