JAKARTA- Google officially brought in a major update to the Find My Device app with a new interface last week, location sharing support, as well as improved device tracking and tracking features around the world.
This update brings a number of major changes, including:
People Tab:
Let users view the location of others through Google Maps location sharing. Users can also share their own location via a Google link or account. This feature is still in beta stage, although the location sharing function has long existed on Google Maps.
New Look for Tab "Devices":
The display is more intuitive, with a list of devices and trackers at the bottom as well as a preview of the location at the top. When the application opens, the device's location is immediately tracked down without the need for manual search. This design resembles Find My from Apple, making it more familiar for users who move from the iOS ecosystem.'
Showing Device Location Live:
Now users can see the location of their own device while looking for another device. Previously, the application only displayed the location of the device they were looking for, without showing the current user's position.

Can't Change Device Sequence
Users still cannot set device sequences in the list, so the application is always open on devices listed at the top.
Find My Device v3.1.277 has not been fully released to all users. However, this update has become one of the largest since Google launched the Find My Device (FMD) network last year.
