Leaks Of IQOO 15 Pro: 2K Screen, 7,000mAh Battery, And Periscope Camera

JAKARTA - iQOO is reportedly preparing to launch its newest flagship smartphone in China by the end of 2025. Recent reports reveal that this device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and will come in two variants: standard and Pro versions.

Interestingly, rumors say that iQOO may miss number 14 and immediately name its new device iQOO 15, as number 4 is considered unlucky in some Asian culture. This speculation is further strengthened by the latest leaks from Smart Pikachu tipser, who revealed some of the device's main specifications and called it iQOO 15.

According to a leak from Smart Pikachu, iQOO 15 will carry a flat OLED display with 2K resolution and is equipped with an eye protection feature as well as an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen. In addition, this device will be equipped with a large 7,000mAh battery and a periscope telephoto camera, indicating a significant increase in photography capabilities.

Although this leak does not explicitly mention the chipset used, iQOO 15 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is scheduled for release in October this year.

However, some sources suspect that this leak leads more to the iQOO 15 Pro than the standard version. Previously, Experience More tips revealed that only Pro variants would have a periscope camera, while the standard model wasn't.

If referring to the previous launch pattern, iQOO 15 and 15 Pro will most likely be released in the fourth quarter of 2025. With promising specifications, this device has the potential to become one of the most interesting flagships of the year.
