YOGYAKARTA - A large project with an investment value of up to IDR 18 trillion (trillion) will soon be built in Sukabumi, West Java, the name is Algorithm Hill. With this fantastic value, what exactly is Algorithm Hill?

This is a special area for the development of technology and industry 4.0. It is hoped that the project will become the center of Indonesia's technology and innovation like the Silicon Valley in the United States (US).

Budiman Sudjatmiko, Chief Executive of the Kiniku Bintang Raya KSO, admitted that his dream to see Indonesia with many centers of innovation and technology development will soon become real.

The purpose of building the Sukabumi Algorithm Hill

He conveyed this when attending and signing a contract at the signing ceremony for the Development Work Plan for the Special Economic Zone (KEK) Development of Technology and Industry 4.0, in Jakarta.

The project, which will take up 888 hectares of land, will be built in Cikidang and Cibadak, Sukabumi, West Java. PT Amarta Karya (AMKA), a State Owned Enterprise (BUMN), was appointed as the infrastructure partner.

"This is a long-term dream. For the first phase for three years, AMKA has become a trusted partner to build infrastructure, including road access, clean water facilities, power plants, convention buildings and other facilities," explained Budiman in Jakarta, Friday, April 9th.

Budiman explained that Algorithm Hill is expected to become a center for research and development and development of the country's human resources, especially the younger generation.

"Many of the nation's young people have made achievements and created innovations in the global arena," he said.

In the first three years as an initial phase, the total value of the project is estimated at 1 billion euros, equivalent to IDR 18 trillion. Algorithm Hill will function to improve the quality of the economy 4.0, improve the quality of education, create research and development centers to accommodate the ideas of the nation's children, and improve the tourism sector.
