JAKARTA Threads launched custom feeds, the ability to set feeds according to the desired topic, last year. This feature is widely available and now Meta is announcing its upgrade.

Thanks to newly released updates, Meta says users can share their custom feed with other users. For example, if users have a special feed on recipe and cooking ideas, they can share their feeds with users of similar interest.

"Starting today, you can share a special public feed," Meta said on February 4. "Feed together is a new way for you to connect with people who have similar interests and find profiles and conversations relevant to you."

This is an interesting update and may be needed by a number of Threads users. Meta also told 9to5mac that this feature is quite popular with users. Since the launch, many have made feeds around sports, astronomy, and others.

To maximize the use of this custom feed, Meta deliberately adds sharing capabilities easily. That way, Threads users can get the latest information according to their interests and interact with the same interest owner.

Share Custom Feeds To The Public

The first thing you need to do to share a custom feed is to set the feed for the public. The method is quite easy, users only need to tap on and hold on to the feed that has been created, then tap Edit Feed and switch to Public mode.

To share the feed that has been created, reopen the Edit Feed menu to click the View Feed option. After that, use the citation icon to upload the preview from the custom feed. Tap the Share Feed button to send in the form of a link.
