Mail Apple App Design Coming To Mac And IPad In April

JAKARTA - According to a report from Mark Gurman on Bloomberg, Apple will soon present the Mail application which was redesigned to Mac via a macOS 15.4. This new Mail application was first introduced on the iPhone in December 2024 with iOS 18.2, but is currently not available for other platforms.

In his follow-up tweet, Gurman confirmed that the redesigned Mail application will also be present on the iPad around the same time.

The design of the new Mail application was actually seen at first glance last October when Apple launched Mac M4. Although the design is not new because it has been introduced on the iPhone on WWDC, the announcement still attracts attention, especially because there are no signs that the application will be coming soon to macOS.

In December, Apple began releasing iOS 18.3 and beta macOS 15.3. However, although macOS 15.3 introduced the Genmoji feature, the new Mail app is still not present on Mac, sparking questions about when the app will launch.

According to Gurman, the app will be coming to the macOS 15.4 update which is expected to enter the beta phase in the next few weeks and will be officially released in April.

Currently, the redesigned Mail application is not yet available on the iPad, either on iPadOS 18.2 or iPadOS 18.3. However, it is hoped that this application will come along with the launch of iPadOS 18.4.
