JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, inaugurated the AI Center and Data Center of Universitas Brawijaya (UB), which became one of the first artificial intelligence centers in the university environment in Indonesia.

Through the inauguration of this AI Center, Meutya appreciated UB's initiative to quickly respond to the development of AI technology in the country. He also hopes that this can become the center of AI innovation in Indonesia.
"The UB AI Center facility is expected to be utilized by farmers and breeders throughout Indonesia," Meutya said in her official broadcast quoted Monday, January 6.

Meutya also stated that her ministry's commitment to supporting universities that actively face AI-era challenges.
