JAKARTA - A Tesla Cybertruck vehicle exploded and caught fire at the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 1 morning. As a result, one person died and seven others suffered minor injuries.
In the first press conference held on the same day, Sheriff Kevin McMahill said that one person who died in the explosion had not been identified.
While at the second press conference, McMahill provided new information that the Cybertruck was chartered in Colorado and driven to Las Vegas, arrived around berikutnyap. The man drove the Cybertruck through the Las Vegas Strip until he reached the hotel where the incident occurred.
McMahill noted that they had identified who rented the Cybertruck through peer-to-peer Turo rental companies, but they did not publicly mention it.
"With this iconic Las Vegas Boulevard explosion, we are taking all the precautions we need to take to maintain the safety of our society," he told TechCrunch.

Law enforcement continues to investigate a number of clues, McMahill said. Tesla owner Elon Musk also confirmed that his entire team was investigating the matter.
All senior Tesla teams are investigating this issue now. Will post further information as soon as we learn it. We've never seen anything like this," Musk said in his post on X.
We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.

We have now confirmed that the expansion was caused by very large fires and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the planned Cybertruck and is unrealized to the vehicle itself.

In the next post, Musk said that the vehicle was operating as usual. Thus, this explosion incident did not occur due to the existence of the car itself.
"We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or bombs being carried around in the chartered Cybertruck and not related to the vehicle itself. All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion," he said.
