YouTube Tries New Mining Button To Watch Videos Randomly

JAKARTA - Google is testing the Floating Action Button (FAB) or a new floating button that works to run the Play Something' feature on YouTube for Android.

The YouTubeplay feature has actually been tested since last year. However, this time YouTube tested the feature using a floating button on the user's phone screen.

Based on the findings of 9to5google, this floating button reads "Play Something" with a triangle icon. This button is white text with a black background.

By tapping the button, YouTube will start playing videos on Shorts at random. However, this feature is not only for YouTube Shorts, but also for ordinary videos with a much longer duration.

There are also buttons on the right to like, dislike, comment, and share videos. Then, at the bottom, there is a button to remove videos from your homepage.

Theplay something feature seems to be adjusted to the viewing preferences of each user. So, if you're confused about what to watch on YouTube, use the feature, and YouTube will play their recommended videos.

There are no definite details on when this feature will be rolled out widely. So, let's wait for the future.
