JAKARTA - The SMA Negeri 1 Kelapa team from West Bangka, Bangka Belitung managed to become the new champion at the Garena Youth Championship (GYC) 2024 Free Fire Presented by Mie Kremezz.
They won the Free Fire esports tournament for students after appearing dominant by collecting 4 Booyahs and collecting a total of 163 points in the Grand Finals round at the Esports Arena League in Jakarta.
Thanks to this victory, the Kelapa SMAN 1 team received the main prize in the form of education funds worth Rp. 33 million, scholarships for tuition fees of up to Rp. 9 million each, and exemption from base money from Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) as the University Partner of GYC Free Fire 2024.
