JAKARTA The Google Translate application for Android devices will add a new feature called Sticky Translation Mode. This feature will make it easier for users to access the last translation.

Based on the dismantling of the application carried out by the Android Authority, this feature can be seen in the Google Translate application with version 8.22.46.6989551.3. This simple feature can improve the performance of the translation application.

If previously users would lose their last translation after exiting the app, this update would remove the habit. Sticky Translation Mode will still display translation results on your app screen.

This feature also works on Google Translate which is integrated with other applications, such as Google Lens. When users use the translation feature in the object search application and close the application, they will see the same mode when opening again.

Besides being available automatically, Sticky Translation Mode can also be set through settings. If the user is more comfortable with a new view or wants to automatically remove Google Translate's memory, this feature can be disabled in the settings.

Basically, the Sticky Translation Mode feature is a good change and is in line with Google's commitment, which is to ensure that the platform continues to improve. This new feature can also attract more new users.

For now, it is not certain when Sticky Translation Mode will be released in a more stable version. This feature is only seen in code form so there is still a possibility that Google will delay or even cancel the launch of its features.
