JAKARTA British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, inaugurated London's first AI Campus funded by Google on Wednesday 27 November. The campus, which is located in Camden, aims to help the younger generation develop skills in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) technology which continues to grow rapidly.
This campus has started a two-year pilot project for local students. A total of 32 participants aged 16-18 years are part of the first batch to gain access to AI resources and machine learning, as well as guidance from Google's AI company, DeepMind.
According to Google, students will work on real-world projects linking AI to the fields of health, social science, and art. The campus was founded in collaboration with local authorities in Camden, which is also a Starmer constituency in parliament.
