Redmi K80 Pro Officially Released in China: Advanced Features and Lamborghini-Themed Champion Edition

JAKARTA – Redmi has once again rocked the smartphone market with the launch of its latest flagship, the Redmi K80 Pro, along with the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro Champion Edition. This device comes with premium specifications and design, offering high performance and superior features.

The Redmi K80 Pro carries a 6.67-inch TCL M9 OLED screen with 2K resolution (3200×1440 pixels) that supports a 120Hz refresh rate (LTPS) and 12-bit color depth. This screen has a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits and is equipped with Qingshan Eye Care 2.0 technology that reduces eye strain with the DC dimming feature.

In terms of design, the K80 Pro adopts a dual glass unibody with an ultra-thin 1.9 mm bezel, making it 21% thinner than its predecessor. Screen protection uses Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, which is claimed to be 20 times more durable.

In the engine department, the Redmi K80 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor based on a 3nm process, with CPU performance improvements of up to 45% and GPU performance improvements of up to 44%. The device is also equipped with a dedicated D1 gaming chip, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage, and Fury Engine 4.0 technology that supports high-resolution gaming with a dual-loop 3D ice-sealed cooling system.

The operating system used is HyperOS 2 with Hyper Core Kernel, which improves performance, speeds up application launches, and reduces latency.

Advanced Camera and Battery Life

Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with three rear cameras, with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor that has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a cinematic dynamic range of up to 13.2 EV. The 32MP ultra-wide camera (Samsung S5KKD1) offers a 120° field of view, while the 50MP telephoto camera (Samsung S5KJN5) supports 2.5x optical zoom, 5x lossless zoom, and up to 20x digital zoom, as well as macro mode. For selfie needs, there is a 20MP front camera (Omnivision OV20B40).

In terms of power, the Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with a 6000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, as well as a Surge G3 fast charging chip and Surge G1 battery management system to ensure safety and efficiency.

Redmi K80 Pro introduces the first ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the Redmi line, providing higher accuracy and reliability. The device also has an IP68 certification that makes it water and dust resistant, as well as a Surge T1S chip that supports 19 5G bands for better connectivity.

Lamborghini Themed Special Edition

Redmi K80 Pro also comes in a special Champion Edition version, with a design inspired by the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 racing car. The rear panel features Lamborghini branding and distinctive Y-shaped lines, reflecting racing DNA.

This edition comes with a storage capacity of 16GB RAM and 1TB ROM, and is equipped with special accessories, such as a charger, data cable, shield-shaped SIM ejector tool, protective case, and user manual. Redmi also provides custom themes and wallpapers that strengthen the exclusive impression.

The Champion Edition is available in dark gray and green, priced at 4,999 yuan or around Rp. 10.6 million.
