The Indonesian Esports National Team Ready To Compete At The 2024 Asian Esports Games (AEG)

JAKARTA - After scoring brilliant achievements in the 16th IESF World Esports Championships 2024 championship which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Indonesian Esports National Team will focus on the 2024 Asian Esports Games (AEG).

Meanwhile, the 2024 Asian Esports Games (AEG) itself will be held from November 25 to December 1, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand

The chairman of the Indonesian Esports National Team, Tjahjono Prasetyanto, revealed that all athletes have prepared themselves carefully, he is also optimistic for this competition.

"Hopefully they can return to show their best performance at the 2024 Asian Esports Games and bring pride to Indonesia again," said Tjahjono in his official statement.

In this tournament, Indonesia will compete in two categories, namely MLBB Women and EFootball Mobile. For MLBB Women, the team was strengthened by the squad who previously won the highest achievement as world champion in Riyadh.

Meanwhile, in the eFootball Mobile category, Indonesia will be represented by talented athlete Ashghar Azizi, who is known for his brilliant playing strategy.

Drawing Results: Joined In Group D, Indonesia Is Ready To Face Strong Rivals

Drawing of the 2024 Asian Esports Games group which will be held on November 22, 2024, and will place the MLBB Women Indonesia national team in Group D with the Philippines, Nepal, Brunei Darussalam, and Sri Lanka.

The meeting with the Philippines, also known as one of the strongest teams in MLBB Women, is expected to be in the main spotlight.

"We are in a group that is quite competitive, not only with the presence of the Philippines, but also other countries that we will still be aware of," said MLBB Women national team coach Ilyas Rahmanda.

Ilyan admitted that he and his team had prepared a special strategy to face opponents. Our main focus is to maintain performance in every game," he exclaimed.
