Tokopedia Expands SIGNAL Feature Or E-Samsat To More Regions

JAKARTA - Tokopedia is expanding its online vehicle tax pay service to more and more regions in Indonesia, through the online SIGNAL or E-Samsat feature in its application.

"People in various regions in Indonesia can more easily pay for their annual STNK anywhere and anytime, even from home, through the online GISNAL or E-Samsat feature in Tokopedia," said Rudy Dalimunthe, Director of Digital Goods Tokopedia and TikTok E-commerce in a written statement.

In presenting these features, Tokopedia synergizes with the government and other strategic partners, in order to improve the quality, efficiency, and transparency of public services in Indonesia.

Rudy also stated that the public interest related to the online vehicle tax payment feature which was very positive was the reason the company expanded its services.

"Compared to 2022, the number of regions that can feel the ease of paying online vehicle taxes on Tokopedia will almost triple in 2024," added Rudi.

With this expansion, the number of regions that can enjoy the ease of paying for online STNK on Tokopedia has now increased 3 times.

The GISNAL feature in Tokopedia applications and websites can be used by people in a number of areas in Indonesia, such as DI Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung Islands, South Sumatra, Lampung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi.

Meanwhile, the E-Samsat feature reaches North Sumatra, Riau Islands, Banten, Yogyakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, North Maluku and Maluku.

"Tokopedia hopes to continue to make it easier for the public to access public services and fulfill tax obligations through the use of technology," he concluded.
