JAKARTA The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Hungarian Embassy and a number of experts and institutions on Wednesday, November 6 in Jakarta.
FGD with the title Analysis Malware as the Government Cyber Defense Foundation is part of the HunIndotech 5.0 Business Forum event. Through this meeting, the two countries discussed Indonesia's cybersecurity challenges in the form of geopolitical malware attacks.
A number of experts were present at this meeting, such as Desi Albert Mamahit as an expert on malware investigations at the Indonesian Cybersecurity Entrepreneurs Association (Hipkasi), Viktor totaling and winning Dora from Ukatemi Technologies, and TNI leaders from cybersecurity.
During the meeting, Mamahit said that the attack on the National Data Center showed that the cyber defense system in Indonesia was still very weak. This condition can threaten national stability so that awareness of cybersecurity hazards is considered very necessary.
"We need to increase personal awareness and family about the importance of security in the use of gadgets and the internet, from smartphones to computers. In the work environment, all staff and leaders must also have this understanding," said Mamahit in a broadcast received by VOI.
In addition to awareness of cyber hazards, collaborative approaches are also considered necessary in strengthening defense. According to Mamahit, traditional antiviral technology must use sophisticated malware analysis tools so that the detection of threats can work optimally.
