JAKARTA - Meta Platform Inc. introduced a number of updates to the Direct Message (DM) feature on Instagram specifically designed for creators.
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said in his latest announcement that this update was intended to help creators more easily manage their inboxes.
"Now, when you open the request inbox, it can sometimes be very confusing," Mosseri said in a recent Reels post on Instagram.
So, after listening to the complaints of creators around the world, Instagram is now adding a new filter feature to simplify the message search process.
This feature will allow creators to filter message requests in DM based on certain categories, such as messages from fellow creators, businesses, accounts that are followed, to accounts that follow them.
"There are various ways to make sure you don't miss anything important for you," Mosseri continued.
In addition, the tech giant has also the ability to see all your story replies at the top of the inbox.
