JAKARTA Some time ago, Microsoft revealed that it will test the Recall feature via Windows Insider in October. However, until the month of change, the feature testing was not carried out either.
Apparently, the software developer has again postponed the Recall test. Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Windows Product Manager, told The Verge that they needed more time to prepare for the feature.
"We are committed to providing a secure and trusted experience with Recall. To ensure we present this important update, we are taking additional time to perfect the experience," LeBlanc said.
The product manager at Microsoft added that it will continue to test Recall in Windows Insider. The preview can be accessed via PC Copilot Plus in December.

Initially, Microsoft wanted to test Recall last June. However, ahead of its launch, there were security concerns that Microsoft postponed its release for several weeks. When the release schedule arrived, Microsoft actually postponed its schedule to October.
Recall is a feature that can take screenshots of all user activities to learn about its data and activities. This feature, which uses the local Artificial Intelligence (AI) model in Windows 11, is able to find and retrieve various things that users want.
Although the feature is very smart, many are worried about its safety. In recent months, Microsoft has overhauled Recall security and turned it into an experience that can be completely erased.
