JAKARTA - Visa and Coinbase announced its strategic partnership on October 29. This collaboration allows Coinbase users in the United States and the European Union to deposit funds instantly using Visa debit cards. Through the integration of Visa Direct, eligible Coinbase users can now take advantage of instant deposit features to support their financial needs and crypto trading.

For additional information, Visa Direct is a payment network that allows real-time fund transfers to Visa cards, both debit and credit, which make it easier for users to send and receive money quickly. With this, Coinbase users can directly transfer funds to friends, family, or even accept payments from companies within seconds. This step was taken by Visa considering the increasing demand for fast access to funds among crypto users.

In addition to the ease of instant deposits, this service also supports direct cash withdrawals to bank accounts for users who have eligible Visa debit cards.
