JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) has successfully organized the 2024 GoTo Engineering Bootcamp, which aims to equip 43 new graduates of information engineering with important skills in the technology industry.

GoTo President Director Patrick Walujo said that this program is part of GoTo's commitment to developing local talent to become future technology leaders.

Since its launch in 2018, more than 250 participants have graduated from this program, with 10 percent of them successfully reaching senior leadership positions in the company.

"We are aware of the urgent need to develop and equip domestic technology talents along with Indonesia's rapid growth and potential to become the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia," Patrick said in a written statement on Monday, October 14.

Meanwhile, Gojek Chief Technology Officer Puneet Goyal, also added that this program not only provides participants with technical capabilities, but also basic principles of technology development.

Bootcamp, which lasted nine weeks, provided intensive training to participants, ranging from programming challenges, career training, to direct mentoring sessions with experts at GoTo.

In addition, GoTo also held the Associate Product Management Bootcamp program to support the development of managerial talent.
