Imajin Inaugurates New Manufacturing Center With Advanced Technology

JAKARTA - On October 4, 2024, Imajin inaugurated the Imajin Advanced Manufacturing Center (IAMC) at Biomedical Campus, BSD City, as part of efforts to encourage innovation in the Indonesian manufacturing industry.

IAMC is designed to become a center for advanced manufacturing innovation in Indonesia, focusing on developing ideas into real products, developing skills, and supporting local startups and MSMEs.

IAMC is equipped with advanced technology such as CNC 5-Axis Machines, which enables the production of complex components and helps develop biomedical technology in Indonesia.

"CNC 5-Axis Machines technology that allows the production of complex products, supports the development of local products and makes a major contribution to the development of biomedical technology in Indonesia," said Chendy Jaya, CEO and Co-Founder Imajin in an official statement quoted Monday, October 7.

In addition, through the development of this IAMC, Imajin is also committed to building a digital creative manufacturing ecosystem to help MSMEs and startups produce high-precision components and compete in the global market.

The inauguration was attended by a number of figures, including Chendy Jaya (CEO Imajin), Stefanus Hodir (CMO Imajin), and representatives from Sinar Mas Land and Toyota Tsusho Indonesia.

The BSD City Digital Hub, where IAMC was founded, was designed by Sinar Mas Land as a center for technological innovation.

Sinar Mas Land CEO, Irawan Harahap, stated that the presence of the IAMC will encourage digital transformation and innovation in the manufacturing sector, which is expected to have a positive impact on Indonesia's digital economy as a whole.
