JAKARTA LG Electronics, a South Korean company, showcased the world's first Bluetooth Latency Ultra-Rendah (BT ULL) technology on September 27. This technology was introduced at the 2024 webOS Summit LG.

In introducing BT ULL, LG collaborates with major companies such as Razer and MediaTek. Through this collaboration, BT ULL technology is exhibited at the LG webOS Summit through the smart TV LG webOS and control of Razer's Bluetooth game.

During the event, Razer game controllers equipped with BT ULL are compared to controllers using standard Bluetooth. Both devices are demonstrated to highlight superior responsiveness, reduced input pause, and control precision.

According to LG, BT ULL offers perfect cloud gaming performance and is able to support competitive games that take as fast as lightning to win. This technology is urgently needed in racing games or combat games.

"LG is committed to continuing to introduce more advanced features designed to immerse gamers in their favorite titles," said Baik Seon-pill, Head of LG Product Planning Division of Home Entertainment Company.

Meanwhile, the collaboration between LG and MediaTek focuses on chipsets. The plan is that BT ULL will be integrated into MediaTek's Wi-Fi chipset MT7921. This chipset will be equipped with Wi-Fi 6 so that its performance can be much better, more efficient, and more reliable.

In addition to introducing BT ULL through these two collaborations, LG plans to introduce a BT ULL certification program for third-party game controllers working with a webOS LG smart TV. Razer will be the first company to receive this certification.
