JAKARTA Google Photos launched an image search feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) pads last September 5. Before being expanded to more devices, the feature called Ask Photos had problems.
Reporting from Android Police, the latest version of Google Photos includes a bug that makes Ask Photos fail to display search results, such as displaying images that do not match the command. After 20 days of trouble, Google finally launched a fix.
Google says that this bug only has an impact on a small fraction of users on Android devices. After analyzing the cause of the bug, the Google Photos team immediately improved its features so that Ask Photos is functioning again as before.
"We have fixed it and now the search should work as expected. In addition, you should be able to use the search to easily find photos using the terms from your photo caption," Google said through the Community page.

To remove bugs that limit Ask Photos functions, users are asked to update the application to version 7.0.674947721 via the Play Store. Once updated, Ask Photos can search for images again based on a certain context.
Users can ask about the name, location, or even text in the gallery. Ask Photos can also search for photos related to user hobbies, food that users like, and much more.
Ask Photos is available on Google Photos for Android and iOS. This feature with Gemini support is only available in English and is still being expanded by Google. Therefore, there are still many users who have not got this feature.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
