The Three IOS 18 Features Apple Will Release Next Week

JAKARTA Apple will launch iOS 18 on Monday, September 16, 2024. Although it does not include Apple Intelligence, the latest system for this iPhone will present some new features.

Reporting from 9to5mac, there are three new features that Apple will release, ranging from options for adjusting screens, new messaging services, to the ability to easily connect iPhones to Macs. Here are some explanations.

New Adjustments On Home Screen

After iOS 18 is launched, compatible iPhone users can place app icons and widgets anywhere on the Home screen. Users also don't need to place icons and widgets side by side.

In addition, there is an option to adjust the appearance of the icon to make it different from the activated mode. Users can choose the Bright, Dark, or other special color option. There is also the ability to enlarge and reduce the size of the icon.

Changes In Messaging Applications

The next feature will be found in Apple's messaging app. Not just one, but four. On iMessage for iOS 18, users can schedule message delivery and send reactions in the form of emojis or stickers.

Apple also added more effects to new texts. Lastly, the most important feature is the Rich Communication Services (RCS). For the first time, the iPhone will bring a better communication tool than SMS to connect Android and iOS.

iPhone Mirroring

The last and most awaited features are the iPhone Mirroring, the ability to connect iPhone and Mac very quickly. This capability is available if the iPhone runs iOS 18 and Mac runs macOS Sequiao.

With just one click, users can control the iPhone from the Mac very easily. As long as the iPhone Mirroring is active, users can open various iPhone applications via Mac, starting from watching YouTube videos, playing songs, or reading notifications.
