Tether And Reku Will Strengthen Indonesian Community Literacy On Crypto And Blockchain

JAKARTA - Reku, a crypto asset buying and selling platform in Indonesia, announced its latest collaboration with Tether Operations Limited, the largest company in the digital asset industry, in expanding Indonesian public literacy about crypto assets and blockchain technology.

Held in the form of a Roadshow, this event will start from September 2024 to March 2025, in a number of cities such as Bali, Medan, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Malang, Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, and Balikpapan.

"Reku and Tether have the same vision to increase crypto literacy to ensure people are equipped with knowledge to make smarter financial decisions in the growing digital landscape," said Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino in his statement.

Furthermore, Paolo also mentioned that one of the reasons for this program is because Tether sees the great potential for crypto adoption in Indonesia as reflected in the increase in investors and consistent transactions.

On the other hand, Reku Co-CEO Jesse Choi, said Reku was happy and proud to be an exchange in Indonesia that inaugurated a partnership with Tether. Reku aims to reach and educate thousands of participants through a literacy series with Tether during an educational roadshow in 10 major cities.

"We hope that more and more Indonesians will know crypto assets and can invest wisely, avoiding trends/PHMOs or illegal investments," said Jesse.

This initiative is part of Tether's larger strategy to encourage cryptocurrency adoption in emerging markets and demonstrate the transformative power of digital finance.
