JAKARTA - Dropbox officially acquired Reclaim.ai, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered scheduling tool, supported by Calendar and Index Ventures.

In its latest blog post, the company founded in 2019 by Henry Shapiro and Patrick Lightbody, said it would continue to develop its products, although under new ownership.

"As part of the Dropbox team, we will continue to invest in the Reclaim you know and love," Henry and Patrick said in an announcement quoted Friday, August 23.

According to the two founders, with this acquisition the company has more resources and expertise to help make Reclaim even greater.

The app focuses on using AI to help users manage their time better and find the best time to start meetings, assignments, build personal habits, and rest.

The product Reclaim.ai, which is integrated with Google Calendar, also allows users to create various scheduling features, such as ordering links and the ability to order times automatically according to the optimal schedule for all participants.
