JAKARTA - Oppo Indonesia announced the presence of the Oppo Reno5 F variant yesterday. Like the previous series, the Reno5 F is the variant with the lowest specifications among the Reno5 family.

PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto, said that price is the difference between the Reno5 F series and other series. But still, in terms of performance, the Reno5 F can still be relied on for the various needs of the community.

"We offer a device with a speed and performance that might be attractive in its price line," said Aryo at the Reno5 F Experience Event yesterday, Wednesday, March 24.

Oppo Reno5 F specifications

Compared to its predecessor, Oppo has added several updates to this latest mid-range cellphone. The Reno5 F has a body with dimensions of 160.1mm x 73.2mm x 7.8mm. The device weighs only 172 grams.

From its size alone, the Oppo Reno5 F promises the convenience of active users in front of the screen. Good for gaming, streaming, and managing online stores.

On the front, there is a screen that has a diagonal of 6.43 inches. Just like the Oppo Reno5, this phone uses an AMOLED panel. The screen panel is capable of producing FullHD Plus 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution graphics.

The graphic side is also guaranteed to spoil the user. The reason is, the Reno5 F is able to display images with a 60Hz refresh rate. This means that this phone offers smoother images with more detailed colors.

In terms of screen security, users can be more at ease. Oppo has coated it with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Plus. Not only that, the security of the device has also been guaranteed thanks to the presence of a fingerprint scanner sensor that is planted on the screen.

The back of the device is decorated with a square-shaped module containing four cameras. Each is capable of a 48MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP mono lens. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is stored in a punch-hole and has 32MP capabilities.

As a form of more service to customers, Oppo has added advanced photography features. Some new photography features that can be used, such as Night Plus mode and New Dynamic Bokeh.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno5 F performance part relies on the support of the MediaTek Helio P95 chipset. The System in Chipset which has an eight-core CPU is also supported by 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.

According to Aryo, Oppo chose the Helio P95 as the kitchen runway because it considers the advantages of Artificial Intelligence technology that this chipset has. In addition, the MediaTek Helio P95 has also been recognized as capable of gaming performance.

Oppo Reno5 F is available in two color choices. Among others, the colors Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black. According to the plan, Oppo Indonesia will hold a flash sale from March 27 to April 1.

Working exclusively with Lazada, buyers can get the Oppo Reno5 F at a lower price. Unfortunately, the company is reluctant to divulge how much this device will cost during the flash sale.

As for the initial sale, the plan is to start April 2, 2021. Oppo Indonesia sells this latest middle class device at a price of IDR 4.3 million.
