Out Of Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry Becomes A Startup Boss

JAKARTA - After deciding to leave the United Kingdom, Prince Harry is increasingly attracting public attention. This time, Prince Harry is reportedly joining a startup company that focuses on mentoring and mental health.

Meghan Merkle's husband got a job at a Silicon Valley startup called BetterUp. He is the Chief Impact Officer (CIO), providing professional training in mental health coaching and development through AI technology.

"I firmly believe that focusing and prioritizing our mental fitness opens up potentials and opportunities that we never realized exist within us," wrote Harry, quoted by The Guardian, Wednesday, March 24.

This will be the Duke of Sussex's first formal position in a private company, since he resigned as a member of the British Royal family. As CIO, Harry is tasked with improving mental health, working on product strategies, and advising on charitable collaborations.

Harry actually collaborates quite often with a number of charities for mental health. He once founded the Invictus Games, an event for injured or sick military personnel to undergo rehabilitation.

As well as launching Sentebale, a charity that supports the mental health and well-being of young people with HIV in Lesotho and Botswana, Africa. Harry hopes that he can help many people to develop their inner strength, resilience and self-confidence.

"As BetterUp's first Chief Impact Officer, my goal is to promote critical dialogue around mental health, build a supportive and compassionate community, and foster an environment for honest and vulnerable conversation," emphasized Harry.

Apart from joining BetterUp, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle also have their own company called Archewell. The company is split between Archewell Production and Archewell Audio.

For Archewell Audio, the company has also worked with Spotify to share different things that have never been known to the public. Meanwhile, Archewell Production decided to cooperate with Netflix.
